Advanced Query Button Missing in Sales Invoices Tab
Per the Guide I should have a drop-down beside the Search field, but there’s not one.

Appears that I need to update 
In case you hadn’t notices the version number consists of the date (YY.MM.DD) followed by a sequential number. So yes your software has not been updated for 2 years.
