I have vision issues which come and go. I’m using the desktop version. I found that if I open a tab in a browser window, I can enlarge the font (Win10) using the Ctrl and mouse. This change will stay even if I go back and forth between various searches or even different tabs. However, in the desktop version directly, expanding the font size works for the page I’m currently on but as soon as I go to any other page (Edit, Save, do a new search, etc.) the size immediately goes back to the original size. I do have the general screen layout on my machine at 125%.
Don’t know if this is fixable in the Desktop version but it would be nice if it could be.
Thanks!
You cannot change font sizes in Manager. Anything you are able to do is a function of your operating system (in your case, Windows) or browser. What you describe for the regular Manager window cannot, for example, be done on a Mac. The issue is that the same software runs on multiple platforms. What works on one does not work the same way on others. Once you open a second instance of Manager directly in a browser window, however, you have all the features of that browser available.
Your solution is simply to open Manager in a browser—something you obviously know how to do—and work in that environment. There is no difference in functionality or resulting data storage. After you open the second instance, you can leave the original window open, minimize it, or close it.
