@lubos, I have reproduced the bug—and it is a bug, and still present in v18.5.60.
When Manager is launched, the first PDF generated in the session does not render correctly:
- This occurs whether the transaction is an existing one or a new one.
- The bug is independent of which PDF viewer is used. I reproduced it with both Preview and Acrobat Reader.
- The bug occurs no matter which transaction type is involved.
- It also does not matter which specific transaction the PDF is generated from. The first one is defective. Subsequent ones are correct.
For example, creating a PDF from an existing sales invoice in a test company, immediately after launching the application:
Notice that boldface type is not displayed. The Noto font is not substituted, nor is the screen display font used. Some other font is substituted. Characters are cut off. And spacing is irregular. But, if a second PDF is generated, everything functions normally:
