Undeposited Money with Employees

I am using Manager server edition, I have query about the undeposited money held with the employees. I am not a accounts expert but trying to learn.

I have the setup of One Bank Account and Cash in Hand(that’s with me)

I want to know how to manage the customer cash held by the employees which they are going to deposit to bank account at a later stage or handover to me which will go to cash in hand.

How can I track the transaction and reduce the accounts receivable of customer and held it with employee account until it get deposited.

Setup a Cash account for each employee

Record the receipt of the cash by the employee - this will reduce the customer receivable

Record the Inter-account transfer when the employee lodges the cash to the Bank or Cash in Hand
