I have entered a new Supplier then went to add a new inventory item but the Supplier cannot be found, have I missed something?

on the inventory page, when adding a new inventory item there is no option to select a Supplier.
Suppliers should appear on your Purchase Orders, Purchase Invoices, Goods Receipts, etc.
OK, I had forgotten I created a custom field which comes up and shows different Suppliers relating to each product. I needed to edit that custom field option in setup of the inventory and add the new supplier. Thankyou for your reply
