not possible.
can we not make it possible. Its an idea. Today more than the email WhatsApp or similar social media option is more relevant and faster. I think it is a very relevant option/utility in the current scenario.
@jayamurli1954, you can export any report to PDF (or take a screen-shot) and share it on WhatsApp or anywhere you like.
@Karimi also you can export and send by mail, still, they added the mail button to all fields. I think @jayamurli1954 got a great point here, it is faster to share quotes, invoices and statements on whatsapp since people use it nowadays more than email.
Welcome to the forum!
WhatsApp use varies from country to country, there are some parts of the world where it is not commonly used.
I am not saying that support shouldn’t be added. Just saying that your statement is only partially true.
It is also worth noting that adding support for sending via WhatsApp would be a time consuming feature for the developer to implement. It’d require integrating with their API.
In the meantime, you can install the WhatsApp desktop client and send PDFs to your customer that way
Thank you Shane, yes true I’m new to the Forum, i have been getting a-lot of information from here with signing up, so I’m new user, but an old follower.
Yes you are right, i shared an idea that is good for me or i was using in other accounting systems, so it is what i wish to be done and an idea that i wanted to share so that i see if it’s recommended or needed by other users.
Actually just yesterday i tried the email registration, the way it simplifies alot of things was great!! Then i turned more greedy to get things simply done, so i asked for whatsapp.
Communication with a jurisdiction tax authority or B2B communication standard I can see value in.
Communication via a standard format such a pdf and email I can see value in.
Communication via a third party proprietary application with very different business goals and ethos would significantly degrade the product even before allowing for diverted programming effort and related loss in other features implementation.
So I’m against the concept.
If a user wants to send their communication via a proprietary application such as whatsapp, skype, signal or similar then print to pdf then paste into that application.
