I need help entering data into the Assets category when setting up my new account here. Searching it found unanswered questions about it. Please, how do I enter in my assets when starting this software??
Starting Balances are entered by going to “settings” then "starting balances. However, before you enter starting balances you will need to set up all other items that you will be using, such as:
- create Bank Accounts
- create Customers
- create Suppliers
- create Inventory items
- create Fixed Assets
after creating all of these items their relative balance sheet accounts will appear in the summary and they will also be available for setting starting balances.
