Save Paper, Save Trees! (Use A5 Printing)

Hi Team,

With due respect i want to request team to add A5 printing option in manager as that would be of great help in conserving paper and also reducing printing costs. Like when we are printing Customer statements lots of unnecessary space is left on A4 sheet. Prominent softwares like Tally Prime already has this feature.

For those who are in support of this please comment.

The PDF generator is obsolete so you would use the Print button and then save to PDF. You can in that print dialogue select whatever your system is capable of. See screenshot below of Chrome on MacOS Print dialogue.

Sir, This will only shrink the size but what we need is proper a5 format just like sleekbill software.

Did you try? It does not reduce the font-size, it properly rearranges the information.

You could consider using the now obsolete themes and PDF generator and write the liquid code yourself. You can search the forum as some changed it for thermal printers themselveds. See forum rules at https://forum.manager.io/faq:

  • Be specific. If your question is related to custom themes, always post the code you have developed and the results it produces. Do not simply post a picture of something you want and ask other users to tell you how to achieve it.

Yes i have tried a lot of diffrent methods many times. It basically reduces font size using default themes
