Hi, please I did autofill for my sales prices and restricted my staff to only create and view. My aim is to not allow them change the sales prices for any reason but I noticed that even with the restriction that they can still change the sales prices while creating invoices. I don’t want them to change prices while creating invoices or for any reason. Please I need help. Thanks.
That would be a very major departure from a basic design principle of the program—that any aspect of a transaction can be edited. Default entries are only convenient starting points.
@lubos This feature must be added at some point. A lot of users have been asking how they could set Manager to prevent some users from making changes to Price and discount fields on the forms. Manager prevents users from changing account linked to inventory and non-inventory items, it could be extended to price and discount.

Yes this need to be implemented asap. Billing agent should not be able to edit unit price field for items with fixed selling price & autofill already defined
Useful for a point of sale system.
Much less useful for an accounting system.
Product market focus is not something I have any say in.
