Purchase material used to complete finale product

I am purchasing diferant aluminium lengts that has to be cut up in smaller sized for final product assembly and then sold to clients as a complete product item.

How can I keep record of this in manager.

example - 50 x 25 x 6 000mm length cut up in 2m and 0.5

Options

  1. Use a production order. Cost will be mostly material

  2. Enter material in minimum until of measure not supplier original length. Then sell it in multiples if that quantity
