please this needs to be worked on
Your suggestion is not clear.
First, there is no such thing as a “super user” in the Manager application.
Second, sales or purchase invoices can be entered for any date by editing any default date that appears on the View screen. Note, however, that the program will not allow you to enter a date prior to the lock date, if one is set. But lock dates can be temporarily lifted if the user has permission to do so from the administrator. (In the desktop edition, there are no users or permissions. Anyone with access to the program can set or remove lock dates.)
first, by super user, I mean Administrator.
As for the point I raised, what i mean is that the possibility of a user who is not an admin to raise carry out operations on a previous or past date can give room for fraud.
Also for the Lock Date function, can it be applied to other users only while admins still has access to the locked period?
It will be perfect if by default other users cannot make operations choosing a past date only the current date. They should require temporary permission by the admin to chose a past date.
That is why the lock date feature exists.
A lock date applies to all users. An Admin user must lift the lock, but has complete freedom to do so.
I recommend you experiment with this in a test business. It is really quite simple.
do you keep setting the lock date everyday
This is the only solution in your case.
