How can I create bank deposit from cash at bank?

How I am doing now is transferring cash at bank to “Inter-account transfers” and then use it to create Bank Deposit in same bank. I am sure there is some easy workflow that I am missing here.

Your explanation of what you are trying to do is not completely clear to me. But if I understand you correctly, it is very simple:

  1. Be sure you have created both the account you are transferring from and the account you are transferring to.

  2. In the Bank Accounts tab, click on the blue number in the Statement Balance column for either account.

  3. Click on Transfer money button.

  4. Fill in the blanks on the screen that appears, including the Paid from account and the Received in account.
