Are you saying you reformatted your hard drive and then downloaded and installed Manager? If that is what you did, your records are lost unless you backed up your accounting data on a separate drive, DropBox, USB flash drive, or some other separate media or cloud location. Your data is not stored in any version of the Manager application itself, but in a separate data file.
If you open Manager and click on About Manager, you will see a data path listed. That folder is where your accounting data is. But if you reformatted your disk, that folder would have been erased.
Maybe some special software that can unformat your harddisk could recover your data.
