@fahadalarab I got the same problem in the cloud version and resolved it by unchecking the bank account maybe we need to set again after @lubos fix this issue.
The USER PERMISSION does not show cash accounts in dropdown list in merged *bank accounts and cash accounts. So, I don’t find any way to grant access to users to any cash accounts. Please solve this problem urgently as I cannot grant access to staff to any specific or all cash accounts as those are not in the dropdown list of the recent bank & cash merged tab
I can confirm this
Fixed in the latest version (21.4.94)
@ctsmp I unchecked & checked again the merged bank & cash account in the customize like you said. But still the cash account does not show in the user permission. So no way to grant access to users to any specific or all cash accounts
Thank you very much @lubos . As always, I am amazed at the speed the complaints/problems are resolved by you. Thank you again.
Indeed <3
You know my feelings on this. My preference is to have one bank and cash tab and under that have bank recon, payments, receipts etc. Which is essentially is what has been done in customize. So the key issue is whether this could be replicated across to the actual tabs. As you you know my preferences is not to have expanding tabs. I think clicking on a tab and then clicking on items within that tab is a better way to organise things. Expanding tabs just feels like I am hiding things rather than better organising them (even if they are technically in a group now).
@lubos as per @Ealfardan suggestion. Would it not make more sense to have delivery notes and goods receipts grouped under Inventory Items as all those items are effectively warehouse logistic operations handling physical stocks?
Customize Layout
I would also suggest to make the customise page more readable and elegantly laid out is to have Bank and Cash or Money as heading, then list the Bank and Cash Accounts, Receipts, payments, inter-account transfers, bank reconciliation underneath it. Then in next column, heading Sales and repeat. Once you have done four columns, then do a break and line and repeat the next four columns with their relevant headings.
The current layout far better groups tabs, but the old layout was actually much easier to read as it was four columns in one page view instead of a long list down. A very long list down is actually much harder to read and looks more untidy. The original view is more visually attractive and better laid out, and easy to eye scan.
