In the UK MTD for Income tax will start in April 2026 with quarterly period returns .

Will manager be able to support this ?
I would also like to know this too, as my accountant is pushing us to use Xero, a lamentable thought.
So my accountant now expects me to pay for Xero, upload all my invoices, removing it from their workflow, and expects me to pay the same rates for the reduced workflow, I’m not impressed to be honest, would it be too much of an ask @lubos for a roadmap to UK MTD so I can tell my accountant to sod off 
MTD for income tax is fairly easy to implement. It’s just generating CSV file from the data Manager already has. It will be done before end of this year.

Hi lubos, could you please reply and just confirm that what you said above is still going to happen? I’m sorry for impatience but I have to make a decision whether to stay with Manager or will have to start with some new software, which I would really rather avoid. It is nearly the end of the year. I am going to be involved in numerous accounts being subject to UK MTD next financial year and am concerned how it is achieved with Manager io and am aware that many people have migrated elsewhere.
Could someone please confirm they have managed to do the first return required recently and therefore I will not be ‘flogging a dead horse’ as they say knowing it is possible and perhaps a brief description of how it was achieved.
@lubos advised he was going to create a report for this but I have failed to notice it materialise
Unfortunately I’ve never received any reply regarding this so I moved on to a new system for the MTD.
