@lubos I was wondering if you can consider introducing something that can lock form editing say like a checkbox in form defaults next to each field. This way when – say – a theme or automatic numbering were set as defaults, no one can change the locked default values unless they have access to form defaults.
That would be an improvement in terms control over documents issued.
There are going to be very good improvements to audit trail in upcoming weeks. Audit trail will give you insight what exactly users are inserting, changing and deleting from the system. If you care about some particular field not being changed, I think the best way would be able to see who is entering records not comforting to your data entry guidelines and then re-train. So I’d say wait for better audit trail and you might find you don’t even need locking form defaults.
