Hi folks. I’m a noobie here. Just setting things up. I think I’ve got most of it, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to set up a loan account in liabilities to use for funds I intend to inject into the business as startup funds. Any ideas? Thanks.
In settings → chart of accounts you can set up all the accounts you need.

Also read Add an ordinary account | Manager.
However, a liability account may not be the correct approach, depending on your business’ form of organization. A capital or owner’s equity account may be more appropriate.
