IT Audit on cloud edition

We are a group of companies and start to use manager desktop edition since the beginning of this year. Our auditor want to conduct an IT audit on this manager software, but they failed to access the back-end platform to check the accuracy and reliable of the system’s function. Can we help auditor to complete their IT audit work if we purchase the cloud edition?

What do they mean by “back-end platform” ?

Manager is proprietary software not community owned.
Your Auditor is free to test the system as it is.
No one other that the software owners are entitled to access the internal operation of the software.

What was the auditor intending to test. From my experience user set up errors are far more common than inherent software errors. Both are best tested in simple test Manager businesses.

@Patch already explained that Manager like Quickbooks and others or spreadsheets like Excel are proprietary and not open source. None of these software companies will allow outsiders to access the code. You should create backups of your businesses and tell the IT Auditor to download Manager from Download - Manager.io and import each business. “History” will help with understanding all settings and transactions made by users.
