Can you import excel with inventory items instead of manually write them?
Use “Batch Create” in the Inventory Items tab

Yes, I would create 1 manually, then do a batch update, to the point that you copy to clipboard, and paste that into your spreadsheet to see how it is formatted. Then format your data to match that, and import. Be aware that item or account names are often not recognized, you may have to get the UUID, if you have an account or item number that’s also reliable. Also, amounts will not be accepted if they have a $ sign in front, so format as ‘Number’ or ‘General’ not ‘Accounting’ or ‘Currency’ in Excel.

Batch Create is the best method
Batch Update can be a difficult method (I have not tested yet)
Batch Create is used to create new items
Batch Update is used to update existing items
