When selecting inventory items from dropdown lists on some transaction forms, item codes are ignored. So lists appear in alphabetical order rather than by item code. This happens on the following forms:
- inventory-write-off-form
- production-order-form
- journal-entry-form
For example, on a sales invoice, items are in proper, item-code order, like this:
But on a production order, they are in alphabetical order, like this (with numbers in item names being alphabetized before letters):
