This doesn’t look like an issue with Manager Cloud because the error comes from Nginx running on Ubuntu. Manager Cloud doesn’t use either of those.
What is the solution, and will this affect data?
What edition are you using? If Server Edition, then you should ask your System Administrator.

@lubos already explained to you that the Cloud Edition Manager will not give you the error you share above.
You may need to provide your manager subdomain address.
If you’re using Cloud Edition, the format of your domain should be
https://{subdomainname}.manager.io

It looks like you’re using a server edition hosted on a Cloud server or your own server.
