I am using Tracking Codes as project Name/number. Now a project has been closed. This project I have much transactions. Though this project is no more in my business, I won’t see them to invoice entry, receipt payment etc tracking code/project. How it is possible to inactive?

You cannot inactivate a tracking code.
Your only option is this process.
At the end of the financial year in which the project is completed - do a backup.
If your existing business is called ABC, then rename it to ABC 2019.
Import the backup as a new business and rename it to ABC or ABC 2020.
Remove the tracking code from that project’s transactions within ABC 2020
Then you can delete the tracking code.
You will always have the ability to recall the project via ABC 2019.
