How to generate sales order report / summary

Dear Team
how can i generate sales order report customer vise or weekly/monthly bases?

sales orders do not affect the accounts.
therefore, there are no reports for sales orders. but you can export the list of sales orders to any spreadsheet program and filter the list as required.
