How to enter bed tax?

I have to submit a bed tax of US $8 per occupied bed per night. How can I account for this?

I would just create new liability account in Chart of accounts called Bed tax liability and then when issuing invoice to customers, simply add extra line to invoice where you can show how much in bed tax they are being charged.
