I am always a bit confused as to why business people want to have a specific formats for their invoices. I suspect most customers don’t care what format the invoice has as long as it has the information required to identify the seller, the goods and/or services provided, the cost and the payment terms

Actually Invoice formats are often Country or region specific and accounts person or CA’s prefer them, it’s a choice and not a binding for anyone though
