Please guide me about the following issue.
My base currency is PKR and my foreign currency is USD.
Now when I create a receipt to take payment in USD and convert it into PKR. Manager.io gives me this option to enter exchange rate 1 PKR = … USD
This format is really confusing for my business. Is there any way I can use ut in reverse order i.e. 1 USD = … PKR??
No but any calculator will do the conversion for you
The formula is easy: If 1 USD = 200 PKR then 1 PKR = 1 / 200 = 0.005 USD
Manager can do calculations in the fields, so you don’t even need to use an external calculator. If 1 USD = 200 PKR then you could just type “1/200” into the exchange rate field.
This is how I do it when entering my exchange rates in settings, but you can use the same method in transaction forms and other parts of the application too:
