Hello, I plan to use this simple and intituive software for recording my own personal transactions. Hence I want to know how do I account for equity shares purchased (even if they are at cost/purchase price). I opened one bank account which is named Equity share Bank Account and recorded a transfer from XYZ Bank to this account on purchase of 200 shares of firm abc and another 200 shares of firm say RST where I pay my broker via single bank payment. The only way I imagine in this software is to record this as an inventory item, but this would not be correct way. Wonder if there is any other way. Moreover can market price be fed in to get market price and market minus cost price to know appreciation/depreciation of this class of asset.
