@lubos can you please add an option to the Discount where users can select to enter a discount on the unit price.
in a business scenario the discounts are mostly applicable on the unit price and it is very time consuming if we enter it as an exact value for the total quantity because we have to manually calculate the discount per unit multiplied by the quantity. it is even more time consuming when there are more line items.
I take it you would like an “Exact unit discount” option
If that is what you are doing would you normally specify the discounted unit price ie an “Discounted unit amount” option
no. the discount on the item would be for various reasons as and when the business needs. it might be for an adjustment related to previous purchase and so the new price should not confuse the customers about their cost of purchase. also, not all items on an invoice would be discounted.
