Not sure if this is normal but I have desktop version 25.12.6.3147. and to get the depreciation in the P&L I had to make a custom account in the chart of accounts no big deal but I could not find any instruction on having to do this also I had to make control account and custom account for the balance sheet as well. By the way in the depreciation calculation report screen its a nice touch saying nothing is required so you don’t try and do it twice.
