I want to show custom fields in column on the attached transaction reports page
Reports can not include custom fields
But you might be able to get more information using custom reports
What exactly are you trying to do?
To amplify what @Joe91 already said, what your screen shot shows is a drill-down on a specific figure in a report. Because the built-in report itself does not include custom fields, the content of custom fields cannot appear in a drill-down.
But, for example, if the custom field is defined to show as a column, it will appear in the Sales Invoices tab listing. You can sort or search that column and export the result. See:
