Creating Default Notes on Documents

Hi, I’m wanting to change the theme on our docs, in the Plain standard theme I could add default notes such as terms and conditions, including banking details etc and I had the option of making them default…On quotes I could introduce narrative in terms of Quotation Acceptance and sign-off etc, including Terms and Conditions…I don’t seem to be able to do that on the new activated theme, even though I have created new custom fields for things such as Quotation Acceptance, terms and Conditions of Sale etc ??? Please assist…

themes only change how things are displayed and not what is displayed.
make sure your custom fields are set to show on printed documents.

I have done this, then went to cut and paste from an old doc into the new one and it will only reflect a single word, and if I re-type, it just goes on in a straight line text format, you are unable to enter, to start a new line???

have you set the custom field to the type you intend to use it?

if you need to break a line use the html tag <br> between lines.
