The free Manager downloaded does not give me an option to create multi step income statement to enable me account for cost of goods sold. as it is is the COGS is under expenses column and i would like to account for it separately. How do i do it or is this not available in the free desktop version.
You do have the option, under Settings - Chart of Accounts, on the P&L side you can create a “New Group” called COGS and then by either creating or editing you can place individual accounts to that group
All versions of Manager are functionally identical. The server and cloud versions only add possibility of multiple users.
