After researching online, the reviews for Manager are quite favorable, especially for non-accountants like my son and me. I am going to try Manager’s desktop edition. I’m sure this question has been asked and answered before, but is it easy to migrate from desktop to the cloud or server editions without losing any data? And if so, can one revert back to the desktop at any time as well? Thank you in advance.
All operating systems and all editions are interchangeable in both directions. Business data can be migrated using the Backup and Add Business functions. See the Guide at Manager Cloud. The only caution is to be sure you have identical version numbers on both platforms before migrating your data, which is not stored in the application but in a separate dat file. Of course, the cloud edition is always up to date.
