I want to know if this software can be modified for a financial institution that is into the business of money lending, where loans can be disbursed, generate a payment schedule, liquidate loans as they mature etc

The software is not well suited for retail financial situations. Customer account information and statement information is not generated. Loan payment schedules are not available. Liquidation processes would need to be manual. Interest-bearing or -charging accounts are not incorporated.
