Can the total be added to the credit and debit balances for the ledger transactions in the reports?

Absolutely agree with this suggestion. Adding total amounts at the bottom of the debit and credit columns in the General Ledger Transactions report would make reviews and audits significantly easier. It’s a small feature with big usability benefits.
Our company also relies heavily on these reports, and having totals directly visible would save time and improve clarity for both internal reviews and external reporting.
Hoping this gets considered for implementation soon!
Your suggestion would make absolutely no sense. The design of the General Ledger Transactions report provides a running balance for each account displayed after every transaction.
What you describe is more like a trial balance.
