Can manager be installed on any linux server?

hi,

can manager be installed on any linux server ?

Yes but it needs to be x64 CPU architecture which is the most common. Not x86 (32-bit) or ARM.

we tried with the trial that was on the site. and followed the instructions but it does not seem to work. are we missing something ?

The server version is aimed at people that have the technical know-how to install, manage and administer a system.

This often requires a deep knowledge and understanding of the various machines, architecture and processes involved so that the users can be supported and aided in using the system.

The Cloud version is available if they technical know-how is limited and will provide a smoother user experience

Can you please provide the specifications of the server and the way you manage it.

hi,
its a centos 8 system.and we do have our own dev ops engineer to take things forward.
if you can provide the guidelines for it, we can definitely take it forward.

Have you tried with a docker installation? it’s so much easier.

haven’t tried it on docker, as its a standalone server just for accounting, no one else has access to it other then managers and accountants. Does the linux install work on docker ? will just try on our local docker see if it works.

the other concern in the repo is that it looks like windows files and not the files for linux

So you followed these instructions Ubuntu | Manager ? If so where do you get stuck?
