Business details HTML formatting outputting as plain text

Something’s happened in the latest update where business details HTML formatting is being output as plain text in receipt PDFs. Prior to this the formatting worked across all templates. I’m using bold formatting on information like Phone and ABN titles e.g. Phone 0400 400 400

If HTML tags are going to be phased out, I’m hoping there’ll be an alternative provided like Markdown style formatting?

Unfortunately, built in support for html in field have been removed.

The good news is that this is only implemented at Theme level. So you can modify the theme to allow for injected html

Thanks for the help @Ealfardan. I can easily edit templates (CSS, HTML, JS) but I wouldn’t know where to start on custom themes without access to documentation. I just want to make some input text bold, and the functionality is partially available.

Regarding these updates I’d say: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

I think the idea is to use Theme Enhancer and ask from it to allow html injection

I’m not familiar with Theme Enhancer, but from what I can tell it’s part of the cloud version — Improved theme enhancer ? I’m on the desktop version

It’s not part of the cloud version. It is an Extension that hosted separately.
