I don’t know if it’s a bug, but the batch update gives me a blank page. I am on version 24.2.15
Batch creation is OK, but for updating and deleting it’s a blank page whereas with older versions everything seems to work fine.

Also explain exactly when the blank page appears. Exactly what triggers it?

You did not select the item to update. The behaviour was already reported and is labelled a bug Behavior with batch operation without selection but it will work if you select the items to update.
