I think when you purchase inventory items, there should be a field to automatically increase these inventory items for resale.
Not sure what you mean by that, can you be more specific in regards what you see now and what you expect to see?
Think she wants some type of perpetual system. Have not really worked with the purchase order side of this program yet. Purchase order should have a way to enter actual goods received ( with a receive all checkbox to save time ) and update the corresponding inventory sub ledger.
