Automatically assign due date

Is it possible to create an invoice that automatically assigns a due by date. E.g. 7 days into the future, 30 days into the future etc.

When I create invoices they always carry a 7 day payment deadline, however sometimes, more than often, I forget to assign a due by date for the invoice. It would be ideal to have some sort of preference setting that allowed you to set an amount of days for a payment deadline into the future which would be applied automatically to every invoice, with an option to override it if necessary.

When you create your next invoice and set the due date, click on the blue link that says (set default) and that will be the default for all future invoices.
