Autofill exchange rate not working for Receipt?

As per title, the exchange rates won’t autofill for Receipts.
Seems like it doesn’t autofill for Payments too.
I’m using version 26.1.21, is this a bug?
Or did I miss anything?

It looks like you have mastered your foreign currencies from the get go.

The only problem is that I couldn’t reproduce your issue on Manager Cloud Edition, Version 26.1.21.3171.

What Edition are you using? Desktop?

Yes, I’m using the desktop edition but it doesn’t matter.
After reading your reply, I did more tests and found the issue now.

The problem is I’m trying to use an exchange rate of a later date for the transactions.
Example, Week 1 (Day 1-7), I wanted to use the exchange rate of Day 7 to record the transactions for that week so that I won’t have to record rates daily.
But Manager only do exchange rates from the date forward, not backwards. Meaning I have to set Day 7’s rate on Day 1.

I’ve seen this pop up occasionally when the ‘Exchange Rates’ haven’t been set for the exact date of the receipt. Even if you have a rate for yesterday, Manager sometimes needs a specific entry for the current date to trigger the autofill. Might be worth double-checking your Settings > Exchange Rates to see if there’s a gap there!
