Allocate employee cost to personnel costs

Hi. I’m using the Netherlands accounting version. I have created a payslip for employee and made a payment for it as well. So far so good. However I would like to see these costs allocated to personnel costs (personeelskosten in dutch). However I can only see these amounts in the suspense account. And I cannot seem to allocate it to the personel costs (see sreen shot)

Anything in suspense account means that you made an error that needs to be cleared. Did you follow the guidelines (quite extensive) at https://www2.manager.io/guides/9751

Hi Eko, thanks for helping me out. I created payslip items and try to select/allocate the amount to the correct Expense account. see screenshot. However the costs that I am looking for is not in the list.

In my original message you can see that I was looking for personeelskosten or those categories, but I cannot select from the payslip items drop down menu… Do you know if I can create a link of some kind to that? When left blank it goes to suspense automatically.

Thanks, I just needed to add new accounts in the chart of accounts to be able to allocate the costs
