Only Invoice #1 showing in receipt description, how to add custom description in receipt?
This only occurs when money is received against Accounts receivable. The presumption in this case is that the sales invoice adequate documents what is being sold. A receipt for payment of a receivable account is for the receivable, that is, the invoice. Because an account receivable essentially involves two separate transactions–invoicing and receipt of payment–not all detail carries through the full process. Nor would you likely want it to, as many sales invoices are quite long.
An invoice for a cash receipt will show the description. And, if there are multiple line items, all will show.
