When the Capital tab is enabled in Manager, the corresponding Capital Sub-Accounts automatically appear under Settings.
Would it be possible to also display these sub-accounts directly within the Capital tab?
This would allow the capital accounts to appear in a better analytical and detailed way, as shown in the attached image, instead of displaying only a single summarized balance without breakdown.
Thank you for your great work and continuous improvements to Manager.
The issue here is that these sub-accounts would have ever increasing balances. Normally their balances are reported for the period. Not as at. Only capital account balances are reported as at.
I don’t think current implementation is intuitive but this is not the way to go either. Something else needs to be discovered.
I understand your point about sub-accounts having ever-increasing balances.
As an alternative, would it be possible to include an optional report or button under the Capital tab (for example, “Capital Breakdown Report”) that shows a detailed analytical view of each partner’s or owner’s capital for a selected period — including opening balance, contributions, withdrawals, and closing balance?
This way, the main Capital tab remains consistent with current logic, while users who need a more analytical view could access it easily through this additional report
