Setup a Non-inventory Item for freight costs and use that as the item

@applet if Account column is “forced” to be shown for at least one line item, it will show for all items.

The solution is to either use Item column on all line items as per @Joe91 answer or check Line - Description on sales invoice and fill out description field for all line items.
