Are you running a 32bit or 64bit version of 14.04 ??? In either case, is your OS fully patched and updated ???

@Jan_Eric_Lindh . I had the same issue and upgraded mono. Problem solved. 14.04 runs version 2 of mono and the latest is v 4. Get it at www.mono-projects.com
