Vat payment entering

I need to enter Vat payment. but Vat Payable account not showing in dropdown box. how can I fix this?

Welcome to the forum.

This usually happens when the default tax account is used.

The solution is to create a custom tax account from Settings > Chart of Accounts and reconfigure all Tax Codes to flow into this newly created account.

Also, are you using a localization? If so, which country?

I am From Sri Lanka. Our VAT rate is 18%. when inter details all taxes are adding to tax payable account. but when I trying to enter paid taxes it not showing the Vat payable account in drop down box. how should I enter the Vat paid transaction correctly.
