Can I update on old version such as V16.1.0? Or the data will be removed?
@Amy welcome to forum, as per my knowledge.
Once a database is converted and opened in a newer version, it cannot be opened using older versions of Manager.io
Back up the Company system before upgrading. Then install the new version. The database will automatically be upgraded to the new version. Keep a full backup in case anything goes wrong, so the previous version and database can be restored.

Thanks for your replies however the below error is coming up. When I press upgrade. nothing happens, because it is not compatible.

Is it possible I can’t import the data of the old version into the new version?
I think you have to upgrade to an intermediate version first - something like version 18.xxx - or get lubos to convert your business file
Do you know from where i can get an intermediate version?

Make a backup of your business file before trying.
