Trial Balance Report inconsistent with General ledger transactions report

Drill down of some Accounts (Ledger report) on the Trial Balance not agreeing with balance on the face of the Trial balance.

For example 70403 PAYE show a balance of 9,654.46 on the Trial Balance:

Drill Down of the same account fails to explain the balance:

Reason is that the ledger report (drill down) fails to recorgnise opening balances…

I can confirm that the drill down ignores the opening balance at the start of the reporting period - was it always like that?

No it a recent thing

At least the General Ledger Transactions report does include the Opening balance :slight_smile:
