Hi is there a way one can customise the lay out of the sales quotes, invoice and delivery notes?
This can be done with custom themes. But custom themes are considered obsolete features. (That is where they are found in Settings.) So they are no longer documented in the Guides. Replacement of the capability has been promised by the developer, but has not yet appeared.
What exactly are you trying to do? There may be ways to accomplish what you want.
I have used Manager Desktop for many years for a number of businesses and always have this problem. Sometimes the document has too much information, and “Fit to page” makes the text too small.
As the stages progress from Quotation to Order Confirmation to Invoice, the header information becomes longer, occupying more and more real estate. Some of the information is static. See this partial image:
The Co Reg # and VAT Reg # can remain at the top.
All the others can be in a double horizontal row. This will save space.
The “Reference 359” is actually the Quotation #
My company information is to the right of the vertical line, which is fine.
How do I achieve this?
